Dr. Rowen is a volunteer with Austin Chapter 249. The experience has been a tremendous opportunity to learn about small business concerns and operations. The issues aren’t significantly different from his previous industrial experience. However, the solutions tend to reflect the limited resources of a start-up. |

|
One of the duties that Dr. Rowen has is to coordinate and “chair” a monthly workshop for teaching the Start Up Essentials. This workshop runs all day and covers a wide variety of topics important to persons considering starting their own business. |
