            Dr. Rowen has been associated with SME since 1986. While he was working on a Ph.D. at the University of Texas, SME’s emphasis on manufacturing was an attractive selling point.

            One technical subgroup, Computer and Automated Systems Association (CASA), is positioned directly in the application space, manufacturing systems, that are also of primary interest to Piquero Insights, Inc.

            Dr. Rowen has contributed to CASA’s Blue Book Series and served as an Advisory Board member for CASA since 2000.
