            “The IEEE (Eye-triple-E) is a non-profit, technical professional association of more than 377,000 individual members in 150 countries. The full name is the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Inc., although the organization is most popularly known and referred to by the letters I-E-E-E.” (from the IEEE site)

 

 

 

            Dr. Rowen has been associated with the IEEE for more than 30 years. Starting as a student at the University of Wisconsin through the present time.

 

 

 

            During that time, he has been a Section Chairman for Southeast Minnesota (1978), and in 2002 was elected to Senior Member status.

 

 

 

            Dr. Rowen has remained a member of the technical society on Engineering Management. He contributed an article to their journal in 1990.

 

 

 

            He is currently active with the IEEE Consultants’ Network of South Central Texas. The members provide a wide range of technical services and consulting experience. The link above also provides links to other IEEE Consulting Groups.
