            A close relative of workshops, training sessions have one important difference. There is a teaching and lecture element to a training session. The structure of the agenda promotes the transfer of specific knowledge.

 

 

 

            That doesn’t mean the interaction with the client is minimized. Adult education needs to be hands-on and interactive. The use of short projects or break-out sessions can be intermixed with the lecture portions.

  • Traditional classroom/short course instruction

 

 

 

            Dr. Rowen is a certified trainer for the MindManager® 2002 & X5 products. He is also trained to teach the Version 7 product, though Mindjet hasn't established a certification program, yet. This is an example of product training, with hands on computer interaction by the attendees.

 

 

 

            Dr. Rowen has also developed and delivered short courses for technical conferences.
